cookies
cooking oil
dried soup beans
instant coffee
instant hot cocoa
instant oat meal
instant pancake mix
syrup
pasta
peanut butter
jelly
powdered milk
spaghetti sauce
tea
dish soap
toilet paper
Ziploc bags containing : toothpaste, bar soap, shampoo, comb, wash cloth
diapers
baby wipes
baby formula
items not covered by social services 
 

Note: The children of poor families tend to like the same kinds of foods as the children in middle-class families. Black-eyed peas, oysters, kidney beans, etc. are not favorite items. Ask the children at our church what they like to eat
